			<title>Studio 1 Destroyed by Fire</title>
			<link>http://bobmarleyfoundation.org/site/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=45&amp;Itemid=29</link>
			<description>Studio 1 Destroyed by Fire

On May 22, 2010, Studio 1 was completely destroyed by a terrible fire. The multi-million dollar structure located in the rustic Aburi mountains in Ghana, was owned by Mrs. Rita Marley. The studio also housed several of Bob Marley’s original tapes. Artistes and producers on the African continent eagerly looked forward to utilizing the impressive facility. It was scheduled for grand opening in June 2010. Studio 1 was the only solar operated studio in West Africa.

Mrs. Rita Marley looks forward to rebuilding Studio 1 and would be grateful for whatever contribution you can make towards making that goal a reality.

Financial contributions should be sent through Paypal.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Jah Bless &amp; One Love,

			<title>Postponement of Youth Symposium and Africa Unite Concert</title>
			<link>http://bobmarleyfoundation.org/site/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=40&amp;Itemid=29</link>
			<description>Friends and Supporters

The Bob and Rita Marley Foundations regretfully announce the postponement of our 5th International Youth Symposium and our Annual Africa Unite Concert. 2009 has hit us with a bang and we want to make the most of it. The postponement means you will have to wait until the end of July to mid August as we plan to celebrate the birthdays of our founders, our Black philosophers and our Revolutionaries in this year of the historical inauguration of The President of the USA.</description>

			<title>Ghana sings a 'Redemption Song'</title>

			<description>

Krista Henry - Jamaica Gleaner - June 24, 2007

 Marley is more popular in death than in life because a lot of his work is still being discovered and recognised. The message of his songs was peace, looking out for the underdog, love. Simple as that.

Attributed to Eppie Edwards, deputy director of the National Library of Jamaica.
